This course introduces the student to actual patient experiences in the hospital clinical environment. Students will demonstrate the concepts and understanding of paramedic clinical skills. Rotations include various patient care areas allowing competency in respiratory care, airway management, cardiac care, intravenous access and medication administration. Students are assigned to a preceptor who is responsible to observe and assess performance. Travel to off-site clinical affiliates is required. Lecture [40.00], Clinical [84.00].
