The students enrolled in Applied Voice V will attend twelve private voice lessons over the semester. These lessons will refine their breathing, range, control, tone and intonation by encouraging continuity of the breathing and vocal exercises developed in Applied Voice IV. The students will extend their singing repertoire to include more esoteric repertoire and they will clarify their sensitivity to music and lyrics by distilling skills learned in Applied Voice IV. The course will build on Applied Voice IV by providing continuity of observation and active coaching by a voice professional. This will enable students to solidify their performance technique and perfect their auditioning capability. Prerequisite: THEA1050 or concurrent
