This course provides an intensive, in-depth study and analysis of contemporary Spanish syntax and a comprehensive overview of advanced grannar. Student develop an idiomatic writing style as a result of a better understanding and application of the complex grammatical structures presented. Topics include the articulation of a coherent position on a given topic, the development of argumentation skills, and the inclusion of appropriate documentation and references to support conclusions. Student commentaries are presented in Spanish both orally and in writing. Class discussions are conducted entirely in Spanish. Prerequisities: SPA 203 and 204 or Approval of Department Chair. Course is recommended to Spanish/Secondary Education majors. Offered upon sufficient enrollment. 3 credits
