Description:
The myths, legends and folktales of ancient Ireland, Scotland and Wales will be examined in their historical and cultural context as well as in the context of modern Celtic Diaspora. Students will do assigned readings and writings, encounter numerous Celtic guest speakers, work in live Internet chat for class discussions and in asynchronous websites for bulletin boards, threaded discussions and links to the Celtic Internet. Lectures for this course will be videostreamed facilities, Internet chat rooms and online web course sites. Course offered through Arcadia University. 3 credits
