Selected topics in mathematics are presented in order to strengthen the student's basic arithmetic and algebraic skills. Applications are used to facilitate problem solving. Students are introduced to a variety of mathematics that are useful in modern society. Students must have the written permission of the Chairperson of the Mathematics Department to schedule MAT109.
