This is the first of two courses covering Systems Analysis and Design. This course covers the Planning and Analysis phases of the Systems Development Lifecycle focused on large-scale business oriented systems. Topics include the role of Information Systems professionals, project selection, requirements gathering and the modeling of systems from process and data perspectives. Prerequisite: IST 225.
