Prerequisite: NRS 110 This five-week course presents a continuation of the concepts, knowledge, and skills introduced in NRS 110 with an emphasis on the concept of safety and the protective environment. Alterations in mobility, skin integrity, and immunity are examined. Concepts pertaining to the care of the operative patient are also considered. Includes selected clinical experiences in area health care agencies. 3 lecture/3 college laboratory/14 clinical hours
