Test procedures routinely applied in medical bacteriology, parasitology, mycology, and virology are covered with an emphasis on the isolation, identification, and antimicrobial susceptibility testing of pathogenic microorganisms. Immunologic and molecular methods used for infection agent identification are also covered. 5 lecture/3 laboratory hours
