Examines multiple genres, cultures, eras, and viewpoints, but primary focus may rest on a particular era or conflict. May include texts by Homer, Sun Tzu, Stephen Ambrose, Oppenheimer, Hemingway, Tim O'Brien, and Elie Wiesel. [occasional offering] 3 lecture hours
