Introduction to the immune system of vertebrate animals, with an emphasis on structure, function, regulation, and cellular and molecular mechanisms of immune responses. May also be offered as AVS 6140 or MICR 6140. Students are expected to have completed coursework in cell biology and introductory microbiology before enrolling in this course.
