Combines concepts of solution chemistry with toxicology to establish stressor-response relationships for aquatic organisms at various trophic levels. Bioavailability is a unifying concept and concepts of contaminant exposure and organism response are set in an ecological risk assessment framework. May also be offered as ETOX 8540.
