Introduction to digital electronics, integrated circuits, numbering systems, Boolean algebra, gates, flip-flops, multiplexers, sequential circuits, combinational circuits, programmable logic devices, and computer architecture. Lecture and lab combination. Laboratory activities to include the design, construction, analysis, and measurement of basic digital systems. It is recommended that students take STEM 1010 or appropriate placement in the same semester as this course. Semester: Fall
