This course is designed to help prepare the music major to teach the playing of string instruments in a orchestra or private lesson setting. Students are expected to develop pedagogical and performance skills on the string instruments, as well as teaching techniques and strategies for each particular string instrument. Basic literature and method books for each string instrument as well as equipment considerations will also be studied.
