Included among the topics studied are problems and advantages of federalism; civil liberties and civil rights; law making; public opinion and elections; interest groups and political parties; the three branches of government; the increasing activities of the Federal Government; and some comparisons and contrast of the American governmental system with contemporary foreign governments.
