This course is designed to develop skills and competence in writing prose composition, reading and listening. Problems in logical thought, organization of ideas, and comprehension in reading will recieve special attention. This course is for Honors Students only or students with CGPA of atleast a 3.25 who petition the Honors Program for admittance. Honors students must earn a grade of "B" or better to earn honors credit. All students are required to earn a grade of "C" or better or they must repeat the course. Prerequisite: Prior admission to the University Honors Program. Credit: three hours.
