Students will learn statisticalconcepts and the technical details behind those concepts as well aswhen and how to apply particular procedures. This class is a mixof theoretical understanding of statistical principles and problemapplication using statistical software. Particular topics include thefollowing: Measures of the central tendency and of dispersion andvariability, hypothesis testing, Analysis of Variance and linear, multipleand polynomial regression.
