Introduction to classical physics. Includes elements of mechanics, heat, electricity, and light. May not be substituted for PHYS 1220, but may be substituted for PHYS 2070 with the approval of the student's program of study department. Credit for a degree will be given for only one of PHYS 1220, 2000, or 2070. Preq or concurrent enrollment: MATH 1020. Coreq: PHYS 2001.
