Study reflective of current issues/topics related to the field of healthcare information management. Topics might include (but are not limited to) emergent technology in healthcare settings such as user interface design, expert system evolution, virtual environments, soft computing/fuzzy logic applications, artificial intelligence. Topics chosen for study in a given semester will be determined by the state of the science at the time of the offering. Prerequisite: Completion of 12 hours HIMS courses.
