The dynamics of leading in complex ongoing military operations in the current operating environment. Cadets examine differences in customs and courtesies, military law, principles of war, and rules of engagement in the face of international terrorism. They also explore aspects of interacting with governmental organizations, civilians on the battlefield, and host nation support. Significant emphasis is on preparing cadets for their first units of assignment. Open to contracted senior and graduate students only. Prerequisite: MILS U401 or consent of Professor of Military Science.
