The physical development of young children will be examined. Appropriate physical education and movement activities for children ages birth to age 8 will be explored. Health issues related to young children will also be discussed and strategies for teaching young children about health will be explored. Candidates who earned credit for HPED A256 may not earn credit for EDEC A256.
