A clinical course whereby students participate in hands on learning experiences at various athletic training facilities. The student will be required to complete a minimum of 75 hours of field experience during the semester. Mandatory weekly meetings are a part of this course as well as daily completion of an hour's log and weekly completion of a goal sheets. Throughout their practicum experience the student will make time to practice, demonstrate and become proficient in selected skills, identified in the NATA Clinical Proficiencies, which have been covered in the ATR189 and ATR220 courses. The Proficiencies and grading procedures are outlined on the course syllabus. Students will utilize Atrack to chart their progress at their clinical site.
