Students are provided with a basic understanding of the entrepreneurial or new venture process in this course. The critical role that opportunity recognition and creation plays in that process is also discussed. Strategy lessons are used to provide a solid framework for understanding the economics of entrepreneurism. In addition, students examine how entrepreneurs and investors create, find, and differentiate money-making and robust opportunities from good ideas.
