This course introduces Arab and Islamic world cultures through readings, audiovisual materials, and videoconferences. We will explore literature, music, art, architecture, Islam and other religions, and everyday lift. These expressions will enable us to trace ethnic, religious, and national identities and how they reflect historical trends and evolving social progress.
