This course is designed to introduce students to thecritical elements necessary in performing a comprehensive health assessment. Techniques necessary toobtain a health history and perform a physical examination are the focus of this course. Emphasis is ondifferentiating between normal and abnormal findings. Experiential learning occurs in the college'sSimulation Laboratory and assists the student in developing the necessary skills required for performingboth a comprehensive health history and physical examination.
