Prerequisite: Life-saving certification. A review of basic strokes and life saving techniques, including new American Red Cross techniques. Course also covers competitive swimming, diving, water polo, water treatment and pool maintenance, skin diving, and legal liability. Each member of the class will be expected to attempt all skills and be able to demonstrate teaching proficiency. 1 credit.
