Prerequisite: ANT 101, PSY 100, SOC 100, or SOC 211. Identification, analysis and interpretation of human remains in a medico-legal context. Provides training in osteology, forensic method and theory, forensic taphonomy, and research methods. Numerous 'real-life' cases will be used to illustrate the theory and ideas involved with human remains recovery and identification in the contexts of homicide, suicide, mass disasters, and accidental death. 3 credits.
