Examines composition, communication through word and image, typographic layout, and use of color in design. Explores how page layout and spatial organization form the foundation for solving graphic design challenges. Students apply basic design concepts to a variety of graphic formats to produce works of graphic design such as posters, business communications, and other related graphics, for presentation via print and digital media studio course. Pre-requisite: ARTD 105 & GRCT 109 or PI.
