AVS 432 - Advanced Aircraft Systems III

Three hours per week. Prerequisite: Senior status; AVS 404. The student will participate in advanced studies of aircraft systems in use on current generation (cutting edge) transport category aircraft. Topics will include glass cockpit, flight management systems, radar, aerodynamics, abnormal procedures and all systems relating to modern-day jet aircraft. The course familiarizes a student with the basic technical knowledge needed to be successful in traditional airline pilot training courses.
