The study of physiological organs and systems affected by human flight and discussion of critical physiological problems that can occur during flight. The course emphasizes the safety of airline operations and how aircrews can prevent and cope with physiological emergencies such as hypoxia, decompression, spatial disorientation, vestibular and visual illusions, fatigue and stress.
