Prerequisites: CSP 569 and department permission An introduction to family counseling. Emphasis on understanding differences between individual and systems approaches to helping families, and the role and function of a family therapist. An integrative approach to family therapy will be stressed with particular application to student's practice situations. Class will include both didactic and experiential learning components. Scheduled summer semesters. 3 credits
