Description:

Prerequisites: CSC 515 or department permission. A continuation of CSC 515, this course is designed for the applied researcher, encouraging the student to explore a database which is close to his/her research interests using applied statistical techniques. In addition, the course will provide experience in modern statistical packages on more than one type of computer, expose the student to the multivariate techniques offered by these packages and, combining these, give him/her the vehicle for eliciting meaningful research results. 3 credits
