Representative Spanish poets, novelists, and dramatists of the 20th- century, with special emphasis on the turmoil surrounding the Spanish Civil War and its cultural consequences. Likely to be included are such authors as Unamuno, Machado, Valle Inclán, Gironella, García Lorca and Buero Vallejo.
