Description: A comprehensive study of human genetics, especially covering the area of single gene defects, chromosome disorders, cancer, multifactorial inheritance, immunogenetics, behavior and populations. Notes: Offered in fall. Prerequisites: BIOL 203, 204, 205, and 206, OR BIOL 220, 221, 222 or 270, and 223 or 271; BIOL 300; BIOL 316 or 317; CHEM 105 & 108; MATH 101, 150, or 151 or any MATH course with a MATH 150 or 151 prereq; students must have a min. grade of C- in all of the listed BIOL courses taken and in CHEM 105 & 108 OR Graduate Status.
