Description: This course gives the students a working knowledge of strobe and tungsten lighting, as used in table-to photography, portraiture and photographing interior architecture and the human figure. It includes the methods for calculating light intensities when properly lighting a 3-dimensional object, as well as exploring creative techniques commonly exploited in studio work. Students must own light meter which provides flash and ambient light readings. Notes: Offered in spring.
