This course is the second of two core courses in the Pharmacy Technician program and will continue to help prepare students for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board Exam. Course content will continue to include the duties and responsibilities of the pharmacy technician, as well as the mathematical components and the pharmacology foundations necessary to become a successful pharmacy technician. Additional skills learned will include sterile compounding, nonsterile compounding and inventory control. This course also includes 75 hours of unpaid directed practice. Prerequisite: ALH 1122 with a grade of C or better or Permission of Instructor if repeating ALH 1123
