Prepares students with the aeronautical knowledge, skill and experience necessary to meet the requirements for a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Commercial Pilot Certificate with an Airplane Category and Single Engine Land Class Rating. Topics include federal aviation regulations applicable to commercial pilot operations, airspace, flight information, meteorology, aeronautical decision making, Visual Flight Rules (VFR) cross-country flight planning and navigation. Prerequisite: AVT 1110 and AVT 1170 and FAA Exam
