Prerequisite: EN 101. This course is an introduction to the fundamental concepts, principles, and rules of law that apply to business activities. The course presents the legal concepts governing the conduct of business from a managerial perspective including the two legal foundations of business: contract and tort law; sales; agency; partnerships; and corporations. Specific focus is also given to employment law, equal opportunity in employment, and dispute resolution.
