This is the first of two courses needed to complete the training required for the FAA Private Pilot License. This course provides the hours needed to meet the first phase of the private pilot training: solo flight. It includes 22 hours of dual flight instruction, 3 hours of solo flight (supervised), and 15 hours of ground instruction with an FAA approved flight instructor. After successfully completing this course, the student will have the necessary aeronautical skills and experience required forsolo flight.
