Participants will identify the relationships and interrelationships of the behavioral, emotional and historical cues common to sexual offenders and will explore the concept of typology and be able to apply this to the characteristics of the sexual offender. This course will define and identify the antecedents leading up to the sex offender's behaviors and will explore their personal views of helping the sexual offender rehabilitate. Participants will also explore their personal views of helping the victims. The interactions of the sexual offender and the legal/judicial system are included.
