This course will provide an understanding of palliative care issues and the continuum of care from initial diagnosis to after the patient has passed. Participants will become more familiar with legal issues related to palliative care including advance directives, family and patient rights. This course will stand-in for the HIV/AIDS mandatory biennial requirement - it is the responsibility of each licensee to maintain appropriate record of contact hours.
