Students will focus upon the changing religious landscape of America as it relates to individual versus institutional religion; the civil rights movement; the peace movement of the Sixties; feminism and religion; issues of church and state; religion and politics, particularly the role of Fundamentalism in public life; religious pluralism; and religious terrorism and responses to 9/11.
