Empirical research in an approved area of psychology conducted under the supervision of a faculty committee. Preparation of an approved proposal, carrying out the approved empirical research, preparation of a final report in accord with the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, and an oral explanation and defense of the thesis. Offered on a credit, no-credit basis only. This is a required course in the MA in Psychology Program. Prerequisite: Enrolled as a classified graduate student in the MA in Psychology Program who has passed the Comprehensive Examination and has a thesis proposal approved by the thesis committee chair and Chair of the Department of Psychology.
