Qualified seniors investigate research problems in areas of faculty interest and competence, gaining experience in organization and execution of a research project. Requirements include attending a weekly seminar, submission of research results in thesis form, and oral examination by faculty committee. Normally, two consecutive semesters (fall-spring) for a maximum of 6 hours credit. Prerequisites: Permission of instructor with whom work is to be done and faculty approval.
