This course is designed to help students gain an understanding of the fundamentals of stage lighting: basic electrical theory, light and color theory, instrumentation, control systems, drafting, and special effects. It is required that each student serve as an electrician or as master electrician on a production during the semester. Prerequisite: THTR 127 or consent of the instructor. (3)
