This course will focus on using the authoritative pronouncements promulgated by the FASB, GASB, SEC, and IFSB to resolve financial issues. Students will analyze complex financial issues to present and defend their positions. Special emphasis will be placed on the differences between IFRS and GAAP. Offered Fall semester. Prerequisites: Admission to the Masters of Accountancy program.
