Studio, workshop. The creative print-making process of cutting and printing the raised surfaces of a block. Cutting and printing from various materials including wood, lucite, plaster, masonite, box wood and linoleum. Collograph included. Self-motivated workshop situation. Visual ideas and executions (design and drawings) stressed. Final portfolio required, attendance mandatory. Prerequisite: basic drawing and design, or consent of instructor. $35 materials fee.
