This class explores the crafts of stage design and scenic art for the entertainment industry. Through class lectures, demonstrations and homework students will learn fundamental techniques for each area. The Stage design component will introduce students to design development, presentation, and model craft, while the scenic art component will focus on the introductory skills necessary to transition from paint elevation to scenery.
