Analysis of law as a social institution and the process of legal development and change. Special emphasis will be given to the relationship between law and social organization, and the relation of sociocultural changes to substantive and procedural aspects of law. The concept of justice will also be analyzed. Law will be viewed as a collectivistic-individualistic process and as a reflection of social and cultural values.
