This course is designed for mathematics and science teachers interested in understanding the deep connections between of mathematics and science in the Physical Sciences. The integrated content is selected to enhance and refresh teachers' content knowledge and understanding of concepts the cut across the disciplines of physics and chemistry with the mathematical tools and applications used in the field. Laboratory activities focus on societal issues and underlying content. Reform based instructional strategies and the development of classroom resources are emphasized.
