The Spring Semester is Part 2 of a chronological survey of Western Architectural Styles and Interior décor. The Spring Semester begins with the Counter Reformation Baroque Style and concludes with the Mid-Twentieth Century. In addition to the illustrated class lectures students will do independent research on art, architecture and ornament topics and visit local museums and galleries to be able to place and contextualize architecture and interior ornament history as it correlates to the theater repertoire and performance practice.
